Mental health is an integral part of overall health and well-being.
Given its critical role, promoting mental health and wellbeing for all have been included as part of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Center for Mental Health Research, Practice and Policy, founded in 2009, aims to develop approaches that promote wellbeing and inclusion throughout the lifespan, develop innovative interventions to increase access to effective mental health care, increase our understanding of risk and resilience factors, and address public perception and stigma around mental health issues. By that, we aim that the center will create a bridge between academia, practice, and policy.
